The Isle Of Mull Music Festival

The Isle Of Mull music festival takes place this weekend,Booboo,Akkie,Stevie,Wee Wullie,Big Roy,Jingles and me are all going to be there.To catch some of last years fun visit U-tube then type in lennoxtown and pick out the footage of us misbehaving in the Tobermory carpark.You will also hear as backing music the wonderful Tobermory We Arn't Sorry,penned by Akkie and performed by The Tartan Rascals.The amazing Box O Bananas are playing in the wee pub in Dervaig on sunday night,to see and here more of this band visit http://www.boxobananas.com

Grace Before Dinner.

Oh Lord have blessing on the soup,
Have blessing on the stovies,
Have blessing on the papes and Jews,
The Muslims and jehovies,
Heap blessing on all gathered here,
On absent friends and strangers,
And if you've any blessing left,
For Christs sake bless the Rangers.

Bus Geeks

I don't actually care for buses too much but part of my job involves driving brand new buses of all makes and for most of the major operators.  If this makes all you bus geeks out there jealous, good!!

About Generator Toast

The idea for "generator toast" came about at a Scottish music festival called the Wicker Man which is held every July at Dundrenin in Dumfrieshire, Scotland.

We were camping and had no electricity but DID have a lovely new generator.  We plugged the toaster into the generator and hey presto we had created generator toast.
