A guy called Simon Taylor started a campaign to put a stick in Simon Cowell's spokes and to stop his latest X Factor winner from being No1 at Christmas once again. The ruse goes something like this, we all have to download 'This Is England' by the Clash on December 13th. Tarbert Music Festival.

Just back from the Tarbert music festival, what a weekend---brilliant. Great bands. Look out for Two Bob Rocket, The Keelies and Keep'er Lit. Thanks once again to Joe the Tiler, the harbourmaster, the plastic glass maniac from the Corner House, the staff and bands who worked so hard to keep us fed, watered and musically amused in The Tarbert Hotel on Saturday afternoon, the Victoria Hotel for having Two Bob Rocket on Saturday night and for letting me dance on the tables, the guys from Kilwinning for some great banter and tunes on Sunday night.
