Skerryvore At Oban.

Just returned from 2 days in Oban, the main objective was to see Skerryvore perform in the Skippinish Ceilidh House on Friday night. Great gig. We all stayed in the Regent Hotel, it was a bit basic but good value and at least the shower worked and the water was hot.

Moby The Fish

This is some pictures of Moby the 26 year old goldfish. Moby was won at the funfair at the SECC in December 1985, on the way back we crashed into a horse which was standing in the middle of the road at a bad corner. When I turned the corner it was looking straight at us, luckily for the horse, it turned just in time to be hit in the behind by the Ford Transit van I was driving. The horse wasn't hurt badly in the accident but the van was, as it was an old wreck which crumpled with the impact.

Later in his life my Daughter Caroline, when she was around 3 years old, tipped his tank over, spilling him and his now departed fishy friends onto the carpet, they all survived that attempt on their lives.
