The Wickerman Festival 2009

Well folks once again it was the annual outing to the Wickerman Festival.

Moans first. Billy Bragg--what are you all about? You were one of the acts I made a point of seeing and was very happy when I found out that you were on the line up. You were bollocks. You were paid (as far as I know) to sing,not to spout utter non-sense.

Now one for the operators of the festival. Why was there only 18 showers for what I would estimate as 10,000 people who paid to use them. Thats £50,000 you took from people to make them queue,sometimes as many as 200 at any one time. So come on a few more shower units next year and you will still make a few quid.

The Polis!!!! What da f*** were you lot all about?? You were all well behaved during the festival but why the f*** did you send us on a 30 mile detour through the wonderful Kirkudbright scenery when we were only going 8 miles along the road to Palnackie?????

Now for the good bit,it was great.

The Carronbridge Hotel Music Festival

Great wee weekend of music up in the Campsie hills just above Kilsyth, We just did the Friday night and it was great. The highlight of the night was the amazing Jock the Box performing with the ex Box O Banana drummer big Santa and Jocks cousin on guitar. So FUD Sevie if you read this Jock and Santa can do it without you--up ye! Sorry theres no pictures folks but watch out for this wee festival over the next few years, and if you do go don't forget the skin so soft,the midgies are evil up there.
